CRAWLED up a 10% grade today in Wyoming high country. Literally went 15 mph up the whole way in 1st gear. Good ol' grey beard (truck) pulled it off. We rested him at the top while we took in the AMAZING views.
Saw a huge elk, 3 moose and lots of deer. K hiked up a hill @ the summit of the pass (some 9300 ft) and added a rock to a rock tower that had been started.
Pulled over at Big Horn. It started to rain, so we broke out some calking, flashing and screws and made a make-shift skylight cover in the parking lot of the Big Horn visitor's center.
Pulled over in a truck-parking-pull-out for the night (shortly after seeing moose). Ate the most delicious mac n' cheese ever!!! Had tofurkey sausage, coconut butter and cayenne, mmmm!
